About Stephen and SGR Pat Testing

Welcome to my Portable Appliance Testing business.

My name is Steve, I am a friendly and professional PAT Tester who has many years’ experience in the electrical field.

I am fully qualified and DBS checked and with full public liability insurance.

I started my career in the HM forces part of 7th Parachute Regiment Royal Horse Artillery.
When I left the army I started working for a local manufacturing firm to which I am currently part of the senior management team.

Since leaving the Services, I have gained a lot of experience and qualifications along the way.

Some of my qualifications include:

HNC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering

Fully qualified electrician (EAL level 3 NVQ Diploma in installing electro technical systems and Equipment)

18th edition IET Wiring Regulation Update

Solar PV (NVQ3 solar Photovoltaic systems) installation and maintenance

Level 3 Award in the in-service inspection and testing of electrical Equipment (PAT)

NEBOSH National General Certificate (Health and Safety)
